Removal of failing paint from a workshop floor using shotblasting

Another sucessful captive shot blasting project done. And another happy customer.

Today the team at Blast Technology Ltd visited a vehicle workshop in central UK. Our task was to remove failing paint from the concrete workshop floor. The paint damage was caused by years of vehicle traffic in a commercial environment. As you can see from the below photo, the paint was completely worn in places, flaky and the line marking faded.

We used our Blastrac 220DT captive shot-blaster to fully remove floor paint and leave a nice clean and smooth finish. The bare concrete floor is now ready for the new paint to adhere to. This will be a fresh coat of anti-slip paint and safety markings.
