Leveling Uneven New Concrete

Recently we were called upon to prepare this new and uneven Car Park surface by Captive Shot blasting. Unfortunately the concrete had been poured badly resulting in excessive corrugations throughout the surface. Without leveling before Shot Blasting the finished job would look less than perfect and have caused excessive water pooling. Leveling the uneven new concrete surface by Diamond Grinding prior to Captive Shot Blasting was a solution put forward by us to our client.

It was agreed that leveling the uneven new concrete by Diamond Grinding using our Blastrac BMG 780 grinder was the way forward, this proved to be very successful taking out virtually all of the uneven corrugations and leaving a very flat surface. After Diamond Grinding we Captive Shot Blasted the surface to provide the correct texture as required.
